I've downloaded a software program and I've now got an extra toolbar at the top of my page called 'My Search' it's basically a search engine with links to all the other major search engines within the toolbar. Can anyone tell me how I can get rid of it please?

Right click on a space anywhere on the toolbar .You should see a list of toolbars avaiilable with several ticked. Simly click against the offending toolbarb name and the click will go - and immediately the toolbar should go from the dcreen. If this doesnt happen then you need more in-depth help -which others will surely give you.
It didn't come with that Smileys program, by any chance? Anyway, Spybot Search & Destroy can get rid of it for you, though you'll probably also lose the smiley program. If you download a lot of programs or use P2P sharing it's probably a good idea to get this utility to check out just what nasties have turned up on your computer as a result: get it from http://security.kolla.de
Another way is to get yourself a non-IE browser, of course...
