There were things that I watched the programme for....And it wasn't the car;-)

I thought The General Lee was great ( 1969 Dodge Charger R/T 440ci ) but Daisy was a lovely bonus.

i too liked the show, these days it would be regarded as banal. formulaic tv was a seventies by-word. shows had their formulaic sayings such as: "heeey,"- the fonze "what you talking about willis/?. these caused the laughter track to work overtime.
