i dont think their is anything wrong with swearing if you are doing it with people you no and who also swear to. i think it is wrong for children to swear and it is wrong for any parent to encourage their child to swear.

shammydodger........... finally,i agree with you whole heartedly with something you say!!!

craig007............. some people just dont get the joke do they?? i thought it was funny if no one else did!

007, IT WAS FUNNY !

my kids are 17 and 19. in their lives they have only heard me use strong language on one occasion each. im not a prude, but do believe swearing is best kept for the work place. NOT in public.

dont have respect for todays society, its the same as everything else in Britain. its a "throw away society".

Cheers rugeley and funky, i am so glad that we all dont have the same sense of humour or in some cases no sense of humour at all!
Words are only words. What is the problem with this country? There are people being mugged, robbed, stabbed, shot, raped, beaten, attacked every day in our towns and cities, and yet here we are fuming about people saying "F*ck," which, incidentally, is an ancient word with its origins in Saxon, and originally meant anything to do with a rhythmic, beating motion or sound. It's a bit like those people who complain about sex on TV, but say absolutely nothing about the bloody, gratuitous violence beamed to our screens from places like Iraq or Israel. We have our priorities all wrong.

Craig007 LOL!!!!! I would never dream of swearing in front of my children, and if they swore I'd be mortified. My mate Kev swears all the time, but he has a very broad Irish accent which actually makes it sound really funny. (Well, I think he sounds funny. I'm sure there are people who'd disagree!)x
