find specific track on compilation album
I wondered if anyone knew a site where i could type in a song/artist and it would tell me if it was on a compilation album..thank you

That's a good 'un, stevie. It does, however, list all compilation albums that a track appears on. You'd have to search for the artist to get all the tracks they've released or the albums that the tracks appear on.
Single songs appear as they would have in their format (7" 12" etc.)
