I am going away next week to SK and I have to take some presents for my friends' 2 children. They are 15 and 17 year old boys. Very studious and serious ( no going out clubbing or drinking ) I am not aware of any hobbies they may have, maybe music and reading. Any ideas ?

South Korea?

Yes
I had a look around and it seems to be a complicated country where presents are concerned.

I am a coward - I would give them iTunes vouchers.

Enjoy your trip.
Maybe a football top from Manchester United, most boys round the world, even studious and serious ones, have heard of ManU.
Is south Korea a difficult country to take certain things into?

That's offensive PP
give money with an explanation to the parents that you honestly did not know what they would like, and here in UK it is acceptable that teenagers like to choose for themselves and ask for cash.
