Cuckoo Clock Problem

Some of you may know that I tinker with clocks. Anyway, a friend brought in a clock which, according to him, had been running erratically over the Christmas period. I finally got around to taking the back off and checking the movement, and this is what I found! http://i60.tinypic.com/x2wl1f.jpg

There are lots of interesting items there, Tony. Maybe I shouldn't drill a hole in this tin: just leave it as is.

Again, on the other hand, it's not an antique, and not even vintage. I'm still pondering turning it into a novelty clock...We'll see.
