What you all seem to be forgetting is that some people are so very very important and indispensible that taking time away from their job to wash a cup would be so detrimental to the firm that it would probably have to close down. Well, that's what they think.
Surely they'd have a servile minion to perform this task for them?
There used to be a notice in our kitchen about the washing-up fairy - until they installed a dishwasher, now everyone stuffs their dirty crocks in there. Even if the stuff inside is clean :-(
Had the same problem at my old work, boss got so annoyed he put a sign saying if not washed and put away he would bin anything left out, no-one believed him, he did it. Worked a treat. Different when you have to bring in your crockery.
Worked in many schools. Never saw dirty crockery left unwashed.
Was I incredibly lucky?
I once worked in an office where the kitchen was shared with Environmental Health Officers. I cleared the fridge one day, and filled a whole black bag with mouldy food and drink! They shut down food premises that were cleaner!
