Just had a bout of it. Watching rock and roll Britannia on bbc4, they are all there, Eddie Cochrane, Gene Vincent, Billy Fury, Cliff, Bill Haley, Joe Brown, Vince Eager the lot. Brilliant programme.

Bought OH ' Silence is Golden' for Xmas, all the lovely oldies, we sang along and I danced to them, (75 and recycled teenagers), and asked each other if today's youngsters will be able to do the same to their music in 40-odd years time? Wish I'd seen that programme tonight Caran

We are of the age we don't forget our music. I think it is ingrained in us. I hear a song and I can't stop moving, albeit not as agile as I was but the beat is still there!

Bill Haley! Wow, I remember his songs, especially "Rock Around The Clock". Great memories...Now the clock is saying time to go to bed.

Does anyone remember The 6.5 Special? I loved that waaayyy back in the 50s. There was also Marty Wilde and Terry Dene.
