Disgraceful even to show it on the BBC.

To be fair to Gary Lineker, who was putting forward pushy parents who 'intervene' in kids' football matches, it was the Beeb, through the medium of Frank Skinner, who showed this.

It's disgraceful and I'm not sure they, the Beeb, should have shown it. It could have ended so tragically. Hope the *** of a father was arrested and charged, as that it taking things and competition too far. What do you think?

It smacks a bit of Mary Whitehouse.
"I saw a programme last night and it was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen"
And you think two things.
Why did you continue to watch it? And When is the repeat?

Trite - nothing to do with pornography. Let's be just a little more on the ball, so to speak, Gromit.
Who mentioned pornography?
Question Author
read up on one Mary Whitehouse, ummmm.
Question Author
Mary Whitehouse complained about many things other than porn.
I don't need to. She campaigned about morals etc. Not just porn.
Question Author
yes - but an awful lot about porn......
Question Author
I'm sure she would have complained about men, or women, chucking kids off bridges, real or staged, just because of the perceived implications....even if they just happen to hit the water.
So....no one mentioned porn.
Question Author
splitting micro-hairs....
Having looked at the video, how do you know it wasn't staged? a set up? Maybe the beeb knew nothing serious - as no serious injuries were incurred by the cyclist so they showed it. I really can't see a problem, seen worse on YBF

I couldn't see anything funny about it - just looked like loutish behaviour to me.
You can see it`s faked. The guy in the pink virtually threw himself against the wall. Reminds me of the fights between the men dressed up in animal suits on Trigger Happy TV.
I agree it looks set up, perhaps I'm missing summat because I just can't see what's funny about it. :o/
It's because Gary Lineker was putting competitive parents into room 101...and they showed the clip to show what competitive parents could do.
Ah right, thanks Ummmm. That puts it into perspective.
