I've heard there's software available that allows you to map graphics on to the side of a vehicle to see where windows/ bumps etc would affect it.

Basically, I need to add graphics to the side of my van and would like to check out the positioning before cutting the vinyl.

Any ideas whether this exists and if so where I can get hold of it

maybe autocad or 3d studio max, both extremely professional, but also expensive

OK. Turns out what the bloke was on about was not actually any software, but just a load of disks with templates of loads of cars and vans in ai format.
