How can I get myself back into an excersise routine? I have been trying but can't get motivated!


Oh Btw.. did anyone notice my 60 post ASL Q got deleted?.. But thats not what this one is about.. this one is about excersise.. ;o)

thank goodness for that, i was looking for your post re ASL and couldnt find it and thought I was imagining it and needed more therapy than what i need already.... it was good while it last tho, like most things in life.


Anyway, I lost loads of weight last year through anxiety if that helps. Then got better, then gave up smoking, then put on over a stone and now trying to do same as you but I HATE exercise. Got the Davinia dvd which is good, running is good (more bearable with an MP3 player), jumping on trampoline is good or just boogying everytime you here an really good tune helps. Oh yeah, and skipping and hula hooping... I do all these when and if i can be bothered! x

Are you a member of a gym? With the light evenings now it's much easier to go for a bike ride, etc....

I have to say, the only thing that has made any difference to me is going to the gym 3/4 times a week. I've lost half a stone and really toned up.

Hmmm try using your toes to type hun, works those leg muscles for ya.

Poglet - I was actually having anxiety attacks and because I was spending more time sitting at the PC I actually put on weight! Lol. I've got the Davina DVD. I am loving the Cardiobox but I just can't be @rsed to do it. In my house we have a trampet, a excersise bike, a step machine, a rowing machine, an air walker, an Abs toner... You'd think I'd have the body of a body builder! I should start using them really!


Sammd - I used to be a member of the local gym but then I gave up when I was signed off work. I would join again (especially now I'm single) but its finding the money for it.

Dangly - You can be my spotter.. (is that what they call them?).. Unless you are a personal trainer of some kind?

If a spotters someone who just watches you all day then yeh. By the way, I couldnt have the rowing machine if your finished with it, could I? ;o) x
