Just read this in the Guardian this morning ! There will be an extended episode of the Archers on Boxing Day, where Mrs Snell will present her "Blithe Spirit" in the Village Hall. Never been an extended program before, apparently, not even when Poor Nigel fell off the roof !

Mrs Snell and Noel Coward... a perfect combination... Pure Bliss !

The Nigel falling off the roof episode was extended as I recall....30 minutes of our lives that Mr Cake and I will never get back :-(

Was it Eccles ? You may be right. I had to listen a few days later as I had a terrible bout of flu when it was on.
