Bt Spam Alert

(If you have BT) there's a official-looking email going round saying that there's something the matter with your BT account, they're unable to collect payment for your latest bill, click here. I've checked with BT and it's definitely phishing, they are working on it. Be alert, click no links if you receive one!

Hi,boxtops,I've just checked my e-mails.Nothing from BT but one from USPS.com saying a courier was unable to deliver a parcel-asked me to print out the label and show it in the nearest post office to get the parcel. I'll delete it as I haven't ordered anything-think it's a scam.

UPS is a common scam, get one almost every week

Surprised I haven't had a BT scam mail yet, Amazon seems to be another common scam at the moment.

We received one of these emails today. Last week, someone purporting to be from BT, rang to say there was a problem with our credit card payments for our account. (We pay by direct debit!)

Having checked with BT, neither the email, nor the phone call are genuine.
