Can somebody explain to me in simple terms, the object of ABers changing their username, not once, not twice but certainly four times in a period of time ranging from 4 months to 2 years.

Just wondering!

I've had mine a couple of years, I'm now looking at some cool new username options. Watch this space!
Reading Stuey's tale of woe makes my heart bleed. I would willingly give him some of my badges, but as they were all acquired through the labels on Robertson's jams I'm not sure that they would be acceptable in this day and age.
But squad only changed his once. His point was about those people who change it "not once, not twice but certainly four times..."
More than once FF. He came back with a completely different name before rejoining as 'Sqad' I just can't remember what it was at the moment.
why are you not allowed to change your user name?

sunny-dave...sorry.Wolf's answer was the best. i walked straight into it..;-)
And I don't see it as he was referring to banned users trying to get back in - which is reasonably understandable. Sunny-dave has nit the nail on the head but that's not as much fun as rubbing sqad's nose in it.
Sqad, you got busted dam it!
Prudie, that's not what the OP says. So the answer could be forgotten passwords, or people just taking a screenbreak for a few years.
oh hang on, I think I've misread your own post, Prudie, sorry
Hello?.... why are you not allowed to change your user name?
