Kim Wilde

The first poster I ever put up on my wall as a besotted fan was of Kim Wilde.

I saw a book in Ottakar's about growing the perfect garden by... KIM WILDE!

I could tell from the pictures that it was indeed the same Kim Wilde and remember reading something about this dramatic career change. My question is:

How successful has Kim Wilde the Gardener been, or is she only allowed to have books publisehed on the back of her previous fame?

Kim Wilde was always interested in horticulture. She attended Horticultural College after the birth of her first child and has become one of our most respected gardeners and horticulturalists. I always thought she was so attractive (still is) and really admire her.

She never wanted all the fame with the music she wasn't comfortable but now she's doing what she's happy with,good luck to her!

she has been on tv the past few years doing gardening shows...cant remember the name of the one she was on recently. as far as i know...she did study horticulture or something similar before the whole music thing

I think she's a great gardening presenter. Very down to earth (pardon the pun!)

She also does the Holland and Barrett ads!

Don't doubt her talents as a gardner but I doubt she would have got near TV or a book deal if she hadn't had her earlier music fame.
