When I use Google and type in something to search for, it brings up a drop down box showing the things I have searched for previously. Does anyone know how to clear this list or stop it appearing altogether. Cheers!

If you are using Internet Explorer, choose the 'Tools' menu at the top, then 'Internet Options'.

Then click the 'Content' Tab, and click 'Auto Complete'. Unticking the 'Web Addresses' 'Forms' and 'User Names and Passwords' boxes will prevent all your searches etc from being remembered.

Clicking the 'Clear Forms' and 'Clear Passwords' buttons will clear all your previous searches and passwords if you so desire. Now click 'OK'.
You can also delete individual ones by entering the first letter and then highlighting it with the cursor keys and press the 'Delete' Key
Get the google toolbar it is THE must have for IE. http://toolbar.google.com/
Can I assume you're talking about the Google Toolbar? If so, click the word "Google" and select "Clear Search History"
If you are talking about the google toolbar, click on google, select options button, untick drop-down search history and then click apply. This will stop it happening again.
Don't get the Google toolbar. It is the don't-touch-with-a-bargepole for IE.
