Every browser (Netscape, IE, Opera etc.) wants to be the "default browser", and asks for it...Exept when you clicked on "dont' ask this question again" (or something like that). So the question never appears again... And then comes the problem : how can I change my default browser ? Somewhere in the registry ? In other words : where does Windows 98 keeps track of which browser it has tot start ?

Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Programs At the bottom there should be a box asking if Internet Explorer should always check to see if it is the default browser...I don't know about other browsers
