Have been wondering what this shrub is in my garden for years, bought it for about £1 from a NT Plant Sale about 10 years ago. Lots of people have admired it but have only just managed to identify it via a friend.

Has anybody else got one of these splendid shrubs in the garden?

Mine's just the usual variety but it's pretty splendid. Also have several giant scabious plants in the garden planted by the previous owner, don't see many of them around locally.
Hiya, just a quick one - your photo Woofgang (beautiful pic) - I have a plant very similar to this which I've always been told was a 'Pheasant Berry' - Are they one of the same thing?
Thanks
