Is there some gunk on the market that will rid me of a rapidly spreading plague of wild garlic ? The bulbs seem to multiply like crazy and are taking over the flower beds and lawn. Thanks.

There's a lot of this in a friends garden that I tend, which is no longer wanted. When I first started forking through the beds with my trusty border fork, I was pulling out handfulls and filling buckets with this, along with grape hyacinths.

After almost a year now it looks like I've "broken the back of it", as I only get one or two comming up now, I've since planted them in a little wild corner of my own garden and I'm queite happy to take them on board.

I only use weed killer as a last resort and in this case it was not really a viable option as there was roses and other bulbs that were wanted. So to sum up, weekly or fortnightly attacks seems to have worked for me but I'm not gonna rest on my laurels just yet! Hope thats of some help. All the Best.
