I'm having trouble remebering a film / tv series seen recently where people are being infected with something but it can not infect prepubescent children. Any ideas?

that theme was visited in an episode of Star Trek (the original series) but I can't remember the episode title.

It definately isn't Star Trek as I never watch it. It is something very recent.

I think you are referring to "Threshold" - TV series shown recently on Sky. Adults could be infected by an alien virus but children were unaffected.

I agree with Gedk, sounds like Threshold.I thought it was a good programme,and its a shame they pulled the plug after just one series.

Another possibility (though most of the series is set some time after all the adults have died) is "Jeremiah" with Luke Perry. Sky One showed Season One a few years back (though buried the last few eps and never bothered to use their rights fo S2).
