mrwarpig has got it into his head that he would like seafood chowder (although he has never tasted it!) or some sort of seafood in white sauce with taglietelle pasta. They do a tray of mixed seafood in Tesco (prawns, mussels, scallops and fish). Does anyone have a tried and tested (and simple) recipe for either. Am not a huge seafood fan myself so don't know where to begin or what would be good.

Many thanks

Its a Creole spicy fish soup, following my own success with unknown recipes, I would search for it on google, or either bbc or itv / food websites.
This is a great sauce for pasta and really easy - saute a chopped garlic clove in a little oil or butter add a pot of fromage frais some ground black pepper and the seafood mix and cook for a minute or two on a med. heat till hot. Pour over cooked tagliatelle or pasta of choice and gobble it up! For a richer sauce try it with single cream. Yum!

Great recipe arlibop, nice and easy just the way I like them, ha,ha. Think I will try that tonight as I have googled seafood chowder and the recipies are quite complicated with loads of ingredients, and as its not for me I am not that enthusiastic!
Try Fish & Meat. Their prawns and other fish recipes were really good. (Although I might be biased, since my brother works there. lol)
