I've been away for a few weeks, did anyone notice?

No, it wasn't a flounce. My auntie died and it's been a very hard couple of weeks for all the family.

What have I missed?

Nice to see you back 2sp ! Sad about your Auntie though. My last Auntie died 4 years ago now, and I am now Auntie and Uncle-less.

When I was boy in the 50's and 60's, Aunties were always good for the odd half-crown, which was a fortune to a young boy ! All my Uncles also wore hats, although not Bowlers !

I am now an Uncle and hope I am looked upon as a good source of half-crowns, although that wouldn't go very far these days !
