If you live alone do you, like me, just open all the mail without looking at the envelope?
I did when MrG was alive but why bother now.

I have just opened a large envelope containing a nice letter from Addenbrooke's hospital thanking me for taking part in the research into the Genetic Causes of Primary Biliary Cirrhosis and giving me a long follow up questionnaire to fill in.

Now, I did have to think for a minute......too many hospital appointments in the last year......☺

It was addressed to the lady who lived here three years ago.....so now I feel guilty.....for opening her mail...though why it came here lord knows...and I suppose I'd better find her to pass it on.....

Hi, Marvel and Roo.....my daughter always forwarded mail for the previous occupants til she discovered they had used her name and address for... and I don't understand it.....child tax credits?

She was more miffed at the thought of having a child than anything else....☺
towards the end of my marriage I had to open all the mail because Chief Stout went totally blind, I always told him first and then read out the contents and he dictated replies, trust is essential.
Hi gness. Hope you're having a good evening.
Moved into our present house about five and a half years ago, for about the first year we were here any mail that came for the previous owners I put into the post box with not known at this address written on the envelope.
