Oh No! Help! Will I Die If I Eat These Tomatoes?

Guess what I've done. Sliced some tomatoes for the salad with the knife I've used to chop up the dog's dinner. Yuk. I don't know if I can still eat it - gag. Steak and salad a la Natures Diet. Should I throw it away?

Thank you for all your replies folks. Dog won't eat them Bernie. Chrissa I was only kidding about dying but if I'm not on here again ...
I had to throw them away, I just couldn't eat them. I don't suppose it would have done me any harm as it was Nature Diet Chicken with Vegetables & Rice. But I can't even stand the smell when I'm preparing it for the dog and have to breathe through my mouth so no chance really of me eating it. I usually sling the knife straight into the sink as soon as I've finished with it but didn't tonight. Hope this isn't a sign of things to come or gawd knows what I'll be forgetting to do next ...

I know what you mean. Some folk feed their pet rabbit on salad items, but I wouldn't fancy any food that came into contact with that sort of thing. Yuk !

Too late Naomi I ate the steak but I always save him some even when he's just had his own dinner. Spoilt he is, but that's what I rescued him for:-)
