If that is as good as they claim then it could see the end of landlines, what a shame that BT could get a big kick up the jacksy. I know a lot of people that only have them for their internet and use their mobiles for making calls.

i would love it as i absolutely object to pay almost 16 quid a month now for a landline, which is often most of the bill, as i make very few calls,
i don't use the mobile much, but would get a contract phone if i could cut out the robbing bstards at TT or BT.
It'll will certainly make Openreach rethink their shocking call out charges, serves them right greedy bastewards.

i have always thought they were robbing gits, to charge for something you have no way of getting out of. Other than to only have a mobile, but i need landline if i want to stay online on my computer.
I've been using broadband without a tv line for years - I'm on Virgin cable, no phoneline necessary
How much is it though hc? my mum's is quite expensive
rocky, I have a package of 150Mbps broadband and two Tivo HD boxes so I don't know how much I pay for the broadband.
