something borrowed, something blue and a silver sixpence in her shoe.

Now how on earth am I going to fix a silver sixpence in the bride's shoe? If she gets blisters I'm toast. The only other thing I could think of was to stitch it into the hem of her dress.

Any other ideas?

You could see if you could find a large corn plaster where the sixpence would stick in the middle open bit and the plaster fastens over it. Might be more comfortable if fastening under the foot.
