I have a photo on my phone that I want to post on AB regarding a question but how (in laymans terms) do I get the photo on to AB?

You need to register yourself with one of the free photo uploading sites. I use photobucket, lots use Flickr, there are others. Once you've done that you can post the link to the photo on AB and it will show.

Most people here use Tinypic (rather than sites like Photobucket or Flickr) because there's no need to register. (Tinypic is actually part of Photobucket anyway).
