Why doesnt Hotmail link owrk?

Every so often I need to send email to staff on websites. If I click on the *send mail* link a Hotmail page something like http://loginnet.passport.com/digest.srf?_lang=EN&l
c=1033&fs=1&ct= etc etc comes up -and hangs . How can I get it to clear?

Are you trying to send a mail from Hotmail? I expect you've got Hotmail set as the default mail program setting (Tools - Internet Options - Programs) - change it if you want to use Outlook etc...

If you do want to use Hotmail and it refuses to open, try setting up Outlook Express with your Hotmail account and then use that to send the email instead.
