Dubrovnik - don't miss it. Also, Rovinj, up the coast, delightful little town about 60 miles south of Italy.


If you get the chance to go inland, go to Mostar - the new bridge has been built since I was there. Very moving place with clear signs of the war damage, and the atrocities.

Don't know if you will have time to go further south in Croatia but do try to see SPLIT if you get the chance.
