Hi peoples out there. Another question about travel in Croatia etc. We are visiting Croatia, Bosnia and Montenegro in September for a holiday, there will be 5 of us. We're hiring a car (collect from the local airport) when we get there and then doing all the planned touring. I read somewhere that you need a "green card" (?a sort of car insurance) if you want to drive in Croatia, but not really sure about this at all. Someone else said that you don't need it for Croatia, but would need one of these green cards for Bosnia and Montenegro. Would like to try and find out (and get a GC) in advance, rather than get to the places and then find out we can't drive because we don't have these green cards.

Can anyone help please? Thanks so much in advance, Chox.

Thanks bedknobs, that's quite helpful. have just emailed the hire-car company we're using to ask them about this, but have printed these guidelines. Appreciate your help, cheers, Chox.
