is when, as now, Mr Tilly has bought a new CD and he waits until I get home before playing it loudly. It's so loud it hurts me ears and I ask him to turn it down and he chunters at me.
He has to sit exactly in the middle of the speakers as it's playing and he goes off into a world of his own.

He's turned it down but it's still too loud. I have decamped to the kitchen. I have my earphones on and am playing music and I can still hear the damn thing!

I think it's a man thing.

Ah Tilly2, would earplugs work?
You're going to have to listen to that track, Tilly!

I will, sibs, when he's not in.
Tilly, you're enterprising - start to dig yourself a cellar, he can keep his hifi down there :-)
Question Author
Butterbun, if I had earplugs in, I wouldn't be able to hear my music on my headphones. Oh, it's such a dilemma.
Question Author
Mr Tilly might get a bit concerned if I start digging, Boxy!
Just remove the fuse from the plug. That'll faze him.

Corylus, do you know Mr Tilly? That's amazing!

Gawd, whingeing women !.
Question Author
I don't whinge. I complain.
LOL, same thing to me, Yilly.
Question Author
When you whinge, you go on and on. When you complain, you say your piece and then shut up..... Well, I do.
Mmmmm, thanks for explaining the difference, Yilly.
mr Butterbun isn't alone in shouting at the cricket or telling them what to do, believe me...
Question Author
I shout at the cricket, as well. I do like the cricket, especially the 20-20.
