I have a question to answer.A patient presents with, sore throat on one side, unusally large breasts(on one side) extreme tierdness and pain in the right hand back of the head (relieved when the patient takes off her bra). Initial exam reveals no swelling in either breast. Could it be a late sign of breast cancer or something else?

It doesn't really sound like breast cancer. I should imagine the sore throat is unrelated. Has the left breast become larger only recently? That could potentially be hormonal. If it has always been larger, I don't really see there's a problem. As for the pain in the right hand back of the head, that is strange - but firstly, has she got a correctly fitting bra? Poorly fitting bras can cause all sorts of problems, especially if you have large-ish breasts. Back, neck and head aches could feasibly be caused by this.

Is this actually a person, or a case study, or are you worried about yourself? Obviously if it is a person, the usual warnings: don't rely on ABers, go to the doctors. But it doesn't sound like the classic signs of breast cancer.

sounds to me like some sort of blood clot, but that is a complete guess.
Everyones breasts are larger on the left side, likewise the left foot. I dont mean to a great degree but larger all the same.I agree with morg-monster about the bra being too tight. I get back and neck ache being one with a large bust size.
