I Have a credit card with a limit of �1000. I wish to get a loan to fund for a new car. I have applied for a loan previously and have been refused as i have a credit card. Any ideas anybody?

The fact that you have a credit card with �1000 limit shouldn't stop you from getting a loan (provided you are making the repayments of course!). Did they tell you that was the reason you were turned down?


Where did you try for your loan, maybe you could try somewhere else as they may have different critera. Try your bank, if your account has been running in a satisfactory manner then they will probably help.

How do you know that you have been refused because you have a credit card? - they should not be telling you this! As long as you are making your payments, there should not be a problem with you getting a loan - try this - www.moneysupermarket.com
