Uk Holiday With 18Month Old

Does anyone have any recommendations about a good place to take an 18 month old for a weeks holiday? Ideally mum and dad would like some nice towns to look round but somewhere with lots to cater for a young toddler.

Lake district.

I don't think 18 month olds need much catering for. Toddlers like toddling and playing. I stayed in this cottage. It's set in woodland, not far from lake Windermere. Just bring toys..

All your 18 month old cares about is having his mum and dad around. I would suggest the Cotswolds or Devon / Dorset / Cornwall. Best of both worlds in terms of beaches and interesting towns.
