Has anyone been watching this vehicle for C.J. De Mooi and is currently replacing eggheads.I can't begin to imagine how some of these people passed the auditions.On the evidence so far can't see much money being paid out.

Read something the other day about CJ - he's not all that bad apparently.
He goes out onto the streets giving help to the homeless, as he once lived on the streets himself. Still don't care that much for him but he's gone up a bit in my estimation

Watched this for the first time today, CJ being smug and arrogant, is this the BBC trying to replicate The Chase? Give me Bradley and the Chasers anytime over this!

It's easy to see why CJ has come back - he clearly won't be able to make a living at acting - he is terrible as demonstrated on Revenge. Mind you, I can see why he's in panto every year.

Presumably because the prize money doesnt roll over to the next game if its not won, the beeb are saving themselves a few bob. Probably stashing it in the bank for the next series of Eggheads.

That he does charitable work is to his credit and he should be applauded for it. I will not however regard him as a serious quizzer until I see him on "Mastermind" ( a title won by three of the Eggheads ) or hear him on "Brain of Britain" ( a title won by five of the Eggheads. ) He was not as angry when he lost yesterday as he was when he was the first to be voted off on his first appearance on "The Weakest Link". He went ballistic then. I will not judge him as a person because I have never met him.

I always liked CJ the best on eggheads as he has some human failings. I've only watched this new thing once and am sure he has been told to really ham up his arrogant rude disdain to make for better telly.
