"and yet there have been scores of other white murders in which no one has been found guilty of, but the mothers of these victims have not been made a Baroness, one has to ask why this is?"

Because a) Doreen Lawrence has done more than any mother I can think of in the search for justice for her savagely murdered child.

Doreen Lawrence continued to campaign for justice for her son after he was so viciously attacked by the five white savages, three of whom are still walking around free...as well as for other victims of racist crime.

She has worked to secure further reforms of the police service. In 2003 she was appointed OBE for services to community relations.

She founded the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust to promote a positive community legacy in her son's name. She was selected to sit on a number of panels within the Home Officeand the Police Service, and she is a member of both the board and the council of Liberty, the human rights organisation, as well as being a patron of hate crime charity Stop Hate UK.

Can't think of many other mothers of murdered white children who have done so much.

Can you?

The reason I talk about Stephen Lawrence, is because you raised a question on Stephen Lawrence. I assumed that's what you wanted to talk about...

That and the white savages that attacked him.

Filth that they are.

AOG

I've just looked through this thread...you switched from talking about this enquiry to talking about PC Blakelock.

Is it because you wanted to write about black savages, rather than white savages?

I'm not accusing you of anything...just curious.

I thought the original question was interesting, because there's a reason for this new enquiry.

However, if you're happy to switch away from the question, and back on to black savages and their relative merits to white savages, please feel free.

I'm off to buy a new laptop now...enjoy the rest of your thread...could be interesting again!

I've just noticed this:

"Now can you see the total unbalance between the black and white cases, but I don't expect you to do so, because you are not white"

I feel rather proud that I'm going to let that go.

You silly old fool.

;-)

Right...off to buy a laptop.

Wish me luck.

Jackthehat...good reply ! We need to see more of you here on AB News !

/// You silly old fool. ///

What you said to me is against Site Rules ie abusive comment, and therefore should have been removed by those who see to this type of thing, but unfortunately in this case they chose not to do so.

Your remark is not only abusive but it is also ageist, I have no control over becoming old, just as you have no control over your skin colour, but I feel that if I had called you a 'silly black fool', it would have been removed instantly and construed as racist.

Doreen Lawrence did get a lot of support for her campaign, more so than the average parents of a white victim would get, unless of course he/she was a drug dealer of other form of low life.
@ Jom Not sure about you, but I reckon that had a white kid had been stabbed and murdered in the UK purely because of the colour of their skin, that they were white, by a gang of kids of a different ethnic origin, the outcry would have been just as great, especially back in the 1980s.

And less likelihood that issues of race would have contributed toward a bungled investigation either.

We hear so much regarding the colour of the skin, in these murder cases, why is this of particular importance? A person being murdered no matter for what particular reason is the most important factor, not just because of the colour of their skin.

And do we know for a definite fact that Stephen Lawrence was murdered for being black, it could have been an exchange of words for example, we definatly know that it was being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
'The PC's only crime was protecting some fire-fighters from the mob, a mob who were part of a wholesale riot brought on simply because a local black woman was unfortunate to die of heart failure during a police search of her home, this could happen to a white person but I very much doubt that gangs of white people would take to the streets and riot, why? Without condoning any murders be them black or white, I think we should be able to discuss the unbalance and reaction we see when the victims skin colour comes into the debate.'

You then go on to say, 'We hear so much regarding the colour of the skin, in these murder cases, why is this of particular importance?'

If colour is not important, why do YOU mention it and say that white folk would have acted differently?
AOG. Much as I disagree with you on some issues, you are absolutely correct in your post of 09.28 today. SP has been very ageist here and his post should have been removed. As I am catching you up, age-wise AOG, I would be offended if the term had been used to me. But I am sure a simple apology would help.

There you are...I said it !
