I think it would be helpful if people joining Answerbank were required to put their country of residence on registration. It makes a difference to the question that they are asking and the information that we offer quite often.

Yes it would help, especially with those questions that come in during the early morning (in UK time).
Should it also differentiate between UK countries- particularly England and Scotland -as it has a big bearing on answers in Law section?

No it doesn't snags. What about the poor hermaphrodites who have put Gender Not Set?
Yeah I am one of those mixed up about my gender a lot of the time.

Recollect that whatever they are asking - they are having to tailor the information ( or else we wd get their life history ) and a lot of the time the bits of the relevant detail that has been missed out - - - isnt by mistake but is intentional
