O_G, it must be more important than Kim Kardashian :o)
I can't keep up with it all.
Its newsworthy for some I'm sure! I found it interesting.
He actually lost his faith quite a few years ago but I suppose it`s news because he is talking about it. Another piece of useless information is that his Dad did my Gran`s funeral (not a lot of people know that)
Some of the comments against him are quite amusing.
e.g. "He was never a real Christian then"

Like spoiled kids.
I remember his insistence against competing on Sundays which meant he did not participate in the world championships back in the early 90's. Shades of Harold "Chariots of Fire" Abrahams then. And I remember him becoming a presenter for the BBC religious show back in 2007, so it came as something of a surprise to hear him talk about having lost his faith back in 2010.

And he is quite right that faith does not make people moral.

What I do find slightly odd though is that this story current, from 2014, is carried across all the tabloids, mirror, express, dm - but for no particular reason that I can see.

Has he written a book or something?
