I have a BMW mini and one of the key fobs no longer works. (I got completely stranded till someone could bring me the spare, not good), do I have to go to BMW & pay their extortionate prices for a new fob or can anyone recommend an alternative?
Many thanks.

Hi Zacs, yes it is a lot of fun
I bought an Octavia VRs Estate last year, the 220bhp Petrol one, having a ball with that as well, bought it as a dog-carrier, trouble is the dogs end up on the back window like Garfield if I'm not careful ;-)
The new Octavia's are very nice looking. Poor dogs ;-)
Good motors, I have the 328i, It's a 92 model but in mint.
Lovely smooth engine that straight six. I had a 325i and the 3.0i is the same in my Z4.
It's Covered 180000 Zac, runs very well, oil / filters changed every 6 months, for the price, it's worth it.
Crikey, that's good to know. Mines only done 80k so at my annual mileage it will last me another 25 years!
epends how you drive it Zac, t plenty of the tear arses trying me, try as much as they like!, its my petrol.
