Anyone know who sang a song about 4/5 years ago that contained the lyrics something like : "never got to make him feel proud".

Definitely not M people / Heather whassername!

It's a big beat sounding track, sung by a black female. I used to hear it in my gym, but have neer been able to find out who it is.

Any help appreciated.
