anybody had a fracture of the fibula,did mine on Saturday night hospital put it in back slab for the swelling to go down went back wed and was told to go back once a week for 3 weeks to see if it knits back together itself, if not might need an op.Still very painful told not to put any weight on it given crutches,finding it hard to get about,does anyone know when i can expect the pain to ease.

I expect it depends how bad the break is. My (then 8yr old ) son fractured his tibia nearly two years ago. He was on alternate paractamol and ibuprofen for three days and then said the pain had gone. He does have very little sense of pain though. He told me it was broken because it clicked when he tried to walk on it :-\
Did you mean spiral? Just realised it says spinal, so i might be misleading you, completely.
pixie....she also says fibula and you have been going on about tibia........two differing bones.
