On Saturday I brought a Motorola E550 and when I try to record something it only records for a few seconds then it stops by itself,why?

Some mobiles have restrictions on the amount they can record in one go, typically 10 seconds. If its not that then its because it needs more storage and you should be able to buy a memory card specifically for the phone.
