Did you get an email directly to your email account? If so, I'm not sure how he got it.
Or was it a message sent to you via ebay which you read on your ebay account?
If you have the same email for paypal as for normal use all he had to do was click on 'pay now' and he would get your paypal email address to make the payment.
then just use the email address to send a message simple!

Report it to eBay and PayPal straight away, TWR - [email protected]

They need to know if people are spamming your accounts.

In any case, what this person was doing would have been against eBay rules, asking to pay you direct off eBay - that could have got you into trouble with eBay (if you'd not been alert to the scam).

Out of interest, how could you tell that the gmail account came from Nigeria?

Already been done Boxy, My email is my account, I've checked no payment, OH forgot to say, they said that THEY WOULD PAY the Shipping costs, very good of them.
Question Author
Again Boxy, I ask what area they are from, this person sent FULL DETAILS of her so-called address.
Chewn

It's spam - they're spelling is to try to evade junk mail filters.

The person you're getting it from may even have had malware infect their computer and that is what is sending the e-mails

Chances are too there's a web link in that mail and visiting the web page will most likely run an exploit that will try to infect your computer if it's not well patched.
