Fed up with Norton problems, Kapersky has been recommended to me in a previous post. Our Norton expires in two days. On Kapersky website I see its possible to have a free trial, so think that's what I'll do and then if ok go on to buy a three user PC package. Pure 3 appears to be very popular but not sure I need all the "extras" over and above the regular Security 2014. Does anyone have experience of either, and are both ok for Windows 8.1. Thank you.

Thanks JacksonMom, sounds great. Do you have the regular version or Pure 3? Thanks
If you have a Barclays Bank Account the full version is free.
avg /avast / comodo all free and all first class ,google them no need to pay for antivirus or security suites
look online you can get some good deals, i got mine on Amazon, good package, and was like you recommended as much better than Norton
the hassle i had trying to get the free one from Barclays wasn't worth it, you can try but i gave up and bought mine
I have used Kaspersky for all my PC s for 5 years now and I haven't had a problem yet.
I can't understand what sort of hassle that emmie had getting Kaspersky free from Barclays...it's really easy and works a treat.

Thanks for all answers. I have downloaded a 30 day free trial. Since doing this, my numbers keypad is acting strange. With Numbers lock switched on, the numbers don't work. Instead the numbers perform various functions such as back space, Home, End etc. If I switch numbers lock off, the keypad works ok for numbers! Anyone any ideas why this has happened. Thanks
