I through a pot of cooked cabbage down it and its taking ages to go away when I flush it,have flushed about 6 times now and attacked it with the toilet brush,a little is going away at a time but what if I get up during the night,

I threw my mop out when I got a steam cleaner,what if I tied a carrier bag round the toilet brush ?
