There has been a loss of a teenager yesterday and when I have been reading through the tributes written by her many friends on Facebook they are heart breaking and full of love . And the simplest of mistakes is that Heaven has gained another angle. Now, this is not the odd once or twice , it is throughout and it saddened me . I did not have the nerve to correct them , would you have had?

Perhaps you could have written a message of condolence with the word 'angel' in it and they may have copied you from thereon.

no I wouldn't.
I guess in this case, no, but it's not a good sign, is it
I most definitely would not have corrected them.

If , and it is a big if, I had done it, I may have posted something along the lines of their tributes , with Angel in a different colour to make it stand out so it may have been seen. Thee are not little ones, these are 13 / 15 and beyond. I am sure they are going to be mortified when they realise. Not good .
They may be too preoccupied with grieving for their friend to be mortified about their spelling.

Mamya you could well be right there, it was such a tragedy.
Sounds dreadful indeed.
