Cardiff lost away to L'pool 3 - 1, Malky seems to have had an excellent reception from fans. BBC hinting was this his farewell? Just an aside- If you put a ^ over the a in the Owners name TAN, in Welsh it means 'fire' - but methinks perhaps he does too much of it!!
Well as at say 18.00 Sun. 22nd - a reprieve.
Hope Malky is given the chance to keep The Bluebirds in the Premiership,
with or without Mr Tan providing funds for the Jan. transfer window.
If I were Malky I'd be applying for jobs at other clubs.
Much ado about nothing................
Surely his job is now untenable. How on earth could he continue knowing that his boss has no faith in him?

Mr Tan may have found that no manager of good reputation at Premiership level would touch the job; who would, given the kind of owner he is ?. He appears impulsive; just the kind of man who would act without having any plan, such as finding a replacement before he sacked Mackay.

Mackay is now in the box seat. He knows that he'd get offers as soon as he left, he knows that he'd get a substantial pay-off if sacked. He can start demanding things, like money for the transfer window. He's really got nothing to lose whatever happens.
now sacked
Disgraceful treatment of Malky Mackay, he deserves a Club where his efforts are appreciated !!
Very sad, but inevitable! City Supporters Club if you can; stage a buy-out on Swansea City lines, and actually support a Manager. Good luck Malky and thanks for all you did to put 'The Bluebirds' on the map. You'll soon be snapped up by a Premier Club very soon, but it's a precarious occupation, isn't it.
Solskjaer is expected to be announced as new Cardiff City manager.Credit: PA
Former Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer watched Cardiff City in action against Arsenal this afternoon, alongside the club's owner Vincent Tan.

It comes as reports suggest the former Norway international is expected to be announced as the new manager of Cardiff City, after the sacking of Malky Mackay last week. And with a few quid to be spent on new signings. That's all Malky wanted - Personalities !!
Now confirmed as a done deed - let the Young man get on with it, and keep 'The Bluebirds' in the Premiership. And this time perhaps Mr. Tan will let him manage, and just do his bit in signing the cheques!!
