We are having a bit of a soiree later and then I'm off home to do the hard work
Trial run of Jamie's Get Ahead Gravy yesterday - I think I will leave out the Star Annise and halve the thickening flour other than that I think its going to be ok

Ric, I usually make that gravy and I never put the star anise in it, doesn't seem right somehow. Very tasty though.

I need a Christmas jumper
I'd like one in dark brown
So it won't show the gravy
If to my front it dribbles down
However with a brown one
if it had a cream toned hood
It would look like brandy sauce
On a really round Christmas pud...

The one I have today is purple with sparkly things on the front. I bought it about 8 years ago from Monsoon. I only wear it once a year though.
My Christmas day one this year is a grey angora one from Primark - its lovely too

I don't have a Christmas jumper, I get so hot on Christmas Day, the thinner the thing I wear on the day, the better :-)

I would live to find something suitable, rather than the woolly jobs everyone else seems to be wearing, and I can't abide round necks.
