I was pleasantly surprised!
Most musicians with a lasting career are unique, and therefore difficult to imitate, but you did a very good job.
Your vocal sound is not at all dissimilar, and your delivery was excellent, well-timed and phrased - the two major faults with karaoke singers are rushing through nerves, and going off-pitch.
As you said, it is difficult, but on a karaoke night, you'd have my cheers and whistles, no problem.
