If i was on a zebra crossing ,would an emergency vehicle with lights on,have to stop?

No it would run you over, kill you then carry on to pick up a man who had cut his finger.

Emergency vehcilces are bound by the normal rules of the road, although they are allowed to 'jump' lights with suitable caution. The idea of lights and sirens is to alert drivers and pedestrians to allow them to take suitable evasive action. You would have ample time to cross before an emergency vehicle reached you, assuming you were looking boith ways at the time.

Does the RSPCA know u own a zebra? :o)


The short answer is 'no', but the driver must still exercise due are and attention.


That said, I suggest that you don't try putting your enlightened understanding to the test as theory and practice do not always travel hand in hand.
